SEAT Mii Electric Wins What Car? Best Small Electric Car under £25,000 Award 2020
Known as the biggest single event in the UK Car calendar, the What Car? Awards took place in January this year and there were some surprising and amazing results, especially for the SEAT Mini Electric that picked up an accolade award. For those that are unsure what the awards are all about, What Car? Magazine which is available in print and online work through several different categories of car. They then offer up winners based on price point and then choose an overall winner.
The awards took place in London on the 14 January, and there were some great results across many different manufacturers, but we were especially proud to have the new SEAT Mii electric vehicle take an award for being the best small electric vehicle in the price point of under £25,000. Customers are just taking delivery of these vehicles now, and the range has already got amazing reviews from industry leading experts as well as the general public.
Boasting to be one of the most affordable and stylish electric vehicles on the market today, it is easy to see why it was awarded the prize. It is the perfect city car for couples and individuals as well as being a fantastic addition to your fleet due to the benefits that come along with it.
It seems many brands and manufacturers are trying to crack the market of the small electric vehicle range. As with so many changes in our future, electric vehicles are becoming increasingly popular. SEAT Electric cars are becoming a top priority for the brand, including SEAT Hybrid vehicles. With deadlines being noted for when the UK will be fully reliable on electric vehicles, it seems every manufacturer wants a piece of the market early on.
The enjoyable driving experience of the SEAT Mii, along with great charging options and quick top-ups make this vehicle a contender not just for now but for the future. What Car? Even did a real range test on one full charge and managed to get out 111 miles, which is a fantastic result and just proves that electric vehicles are here and a good investment to make. Especially for travelling around city centres.
There will be some competition in the future, from brands such as Skoda and Volkswagen who have upcoming vehicles at the same price point and also effectively to be a very similar car to the SEAT Mii. But there are no guarantees that these vehicles will look as good, or have the driving experience as what the SEAT Mii can offer.
In conclusion, the What Car? Awards were a fan at sic result for SEAT and specifically for the SEAT Mii. We hope to see continued growth in this vehicle and that more and more customers can see and experience exactly the points that What Car? Highlighted when reviewing the car for the award.
